Say hello to Latchet, and good-bye to Lyric. We’ve loved the name Lyric since the start, but the name wasn’t quite working. Why? There are many, many things named “Lyric,” including companies, theaters, the list goes on. Googling “lyric” is much more likely to deliver you song lyrics than a community marketplace. “Lyric” also hints at music, and our business is focused on the tangible arts. We wanted a name that was grounded in artistry and connection. Something that evoked the power of artisan communities working together to lift each other up. Latchet is just that — it’s a kind of connection between two things, something that holds other things together. We love that energy. Latchet is a place where people come together to work together. Where community comes first. Where we support one another and build each other up. We're excited you're here.
